EgoZ Return to Cairo Jazz Club

We haven’t heard of EgoZ playing any gigs in quite some time so their return to CJC this month has us super excited. The local New Wave Rock band last played El Sakkia Culture Wheel after releasing their debut album Temple of Small Things in the summer of 2013. Now for the first time in two years EgoZ is finally back to Cairo Jazz Club’s versatile stage on September 29th.

With all new original material and fresh Arabic tracks there’s no doubt we’re all to soon to be well impressed. Whether you’re spending the Eid in Cairo Town or hitting the road to join the beach celebrations, you’ll probably return with those leftover thrills you’ll find hard to diffuse and get back to work. Isn’t this the best opportunity though, to get over all the festivities with some solid Rock music to enjoy with friends over a few drinks? We’ll personally get down there and reminisce of the old days with one of the more prominent rock bands in the country. Established in 1998 by Hany Mustafa, Karim Safwat and Mustafa Farid, and having performed at many major musical events in Egypt for over a decade. Hany Mustafa aka Hany Must is setting all aside to gather the boys for a palpable Rock experience and are once again about to set off with determination, rhythmic power and musical frenzy. Rocking guitars, pounding drums and holy vocal talent are in store so all you rock music fans get yourselves ready to head down to the most established club and music venue in town to check out EgoZ, revived and rearranged for one hell of a comeback!
