Well if you answered yes to all of the above, than the answer to your question is Dokkan Dilwa2ty downtown's newest ice_ribh pop up shop. You might be asking, like we were, What is ice_ribh?

Ice_ribh raises awareness about corporate social responsibility and inclusive business. Aside from that they assist the private sector with skills and business model development. Today they will be hosting their launch between 5:30pm till 8pm. Sponsored by Intercontinental SemiRamis, The pop-up shop will be showcasing amazing household and stationary items made entirely from recycled materials. All the paper and textile products displayed are locally made by women of A.P.E (Association for the Protection of the Environment). It should be blatantly obvious to anyone living in Egypt that we have a garbage problem, so what better way to deal with the excess garbage than to recycle it into creative new products.
This is a very special happening for Cairo. Very rarely do you hear of shops that open up for only a week, so don't miss your chance. Dokkan Dilwa2ty will be running from September 17th-21st between the hours of 10am – 7pm. We here at CairoScene believe that events like these are too few and far between, and are important in helping shape Cairo character as a city.
