Chuck E. Cheese Gets USD 51 Million Investment to Expand in Egypt

Iconic pizza and entertainment chain Chuck E. Cheese is getting a big boost, with Saudi Arabia’s Safari Holding Group investing USD 51 million to expand the popular birthday party destination across Egypt by 2030. The investment marks the group's first foray into the entertainment sector in Egypt, tapping into the growing demand for family-oriented entertainment in the country.

The first phase of Safari Holding Group's investment will see the first Chuck E. Cheese franchise opened in Sheikh Zayed’s Royal Park Mall, with plans to build five more branches in Cairo, Alexandria and Sharm El-Sheikh over the next decade.

The group is considering expanding its portfolio to include more entertainment concepts that cater to a wider range of age groups, as well as additional destinations like Turkey and Morocco.
