Cheer for Egypt

This Tuesday 15th October, Egypt face Ghana in the first leg of their final World Cup qualifier, a win would put us in good stead to qualify for the World Cup for the first time in... in... yaaaaaa, mein zamaaan ba2a!

The whole nation could do with a lift right about now seeing as we're stuck in this strange socio-politic-economic purgatory and the only light we're seeing at the end of the tunnel comes in the form of green lazer pointers. For those spending Eid in Gouna, Electrum Records are shifting from the universal language of music to football, and in partnership with Coca Cola and their Cheer campaign will be setting up a large area next to Moods beach with big screens where they'll be airing the match. To add to the rapturous atmosphere expect the whole nine yards of stadium shenanigans from flags and tablas to bikini clad cheerleaders (bring your own bikini clad cheerleaders).

The match kicks off at 6PM and anyone is welcome to join, whether your a fan of football, happiness or just making loud noise.
