Cairo University's New Talent Contest Offers EGP 120k in Prize Money

Cairo University is launching their first massive talent competition, in which undergraduate and post-graduate students will be able to showcase their skills for the chance to win from a EGP 120,000 prize pool.

The competition will encourage Cairo University students to create projects in one of three different tracks: storytelling, arts and sciences. The storytelling tracks will accept poetry, literature and scripts for plays, while the art track will cover everything from drawings, to music, to short films that have been recorded on your cell phone. Finally, the science track challenges students to come up with any sort of invention or scientific innovation, whether that's in renewable energy, agriculture, robotics or more.

The grand prize for each track will grace the winner with EGP 25,000. Second place winners will receive EGP EGP 20,000, while third place winners will go home with EGP 15,000. Students have until April 30th to submit their entries. All they need to do is enter the university's HR Department with their project and their student IDs.
