Cairo International Airport Establish Thermal Scanners to Detect COVID-19 Among Incoming Passengers
All passengers coming back to Egypt will be required to spend 14 days in isolation, in accordance with the WHO’s COVID-19 guidelines.

Cairo International Airport has started installing thermal scanners to detect cases of the Coronavirus among passengers upon arrival. This technology has grown exponentially over the past few months on a global scale to help contain the spread of the virus.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation will continue operating incoming flights to ensure the return of stranded Egyptians.
All passengers coming back to Egypt are required to spend 14 days in isolation, in accordance with the WHO’s COVID-19 guidelines.
