COP27 Youth Competition Gives Kids the Chance to Fight Climate Change

With the COP27 UN Climate Change Conference in Sharm El Sheikh just a few months away, the Egyptian government has been opening up opportunities for communities across the country to get involved. Under the auspices of the Children’s Committee and the Climate Action Network, kids across the globe will soon have the chance to come up with their own solutions against climate change at the newly-launched COP27 Youth Competition.

The competition is open to students aged five to 15 from 55,000 schools across Egypt and the world. Kids will be able to compete in a number of categories, including arts and crafts, photography, videography, news casting and writing, all led by big names in their respective fields.

The COP27 Youth Competition is currently accepting submissions until August 5th, with the winners to be announced mid-August. For more inquiries and to submit your entries, email egysmartmedia@gmail.com
