CJC Brings RainDogs with Brass Knuckles

Oh, how we danced and we swallowed the night at the always fun Cairo Jazz Club. Making their debut at the Cairo Jazz Club is the Tom Waits cover band RainDogs, who will be bring this legendary artist's raspy eclectic sounds to life.

Taking place on September 2nd , this show is sure to be amazing, as it isn't everyday that a cover band chooses a prolific albeit obscure artist to cover. For those who don't know Tom Waits, his career spans decades, challenging the notions of what accessible music can be, and even going so far as writing a whole album highlighting the plight of Palestinians.

Joining them on the stage will be a 90s' Rock/Punk band named The Brass Knuckles. Relatively new to the scene, it is no surprise that they will be taking the stage at one of Cairo's notorious incubators for new music. If you are the type that cares about having their finger on the pulse of the music scene, then you know that the Cairo Jazz Club continues its tradition of being the absolute best place to see, hear, and feel new, live music.
