CBE Removes Restrictions on Foreign Currency Spending on Credit Cards

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has released a recommendation for local banks to remove restrictions on spending of foreign currency on credit cards.

The directive is part of a comprehensive economic reform program that is being implemented in coordination with the Egyptian government, as well as the support of bilateral and multilateral partners.
