And Action! Zawya’s Oscars Week is Back

Cinephiles rejoice! Zawya, Cairo’s own art house cinema, is hosting an Oscars Week from the 5th to the 11th of February. The downtown venue have invited hundreds of Cairo’s most devoted film fans in preparation for the upcoming 92nd Academy Awards, which is just around the corner on February 10th.

Some of the films Zawya will be showing include 'Ford vs. Ferrari' starring the ever-intense Christian Bale and Matt Damon, 'Joker' featuring a chilling performance by Joaquin Phoenix, and Disney sequel 'Maleficent II' starring perpetual badass Angelina Jolie.

This is the second time that the cinema’s hosted their Oscars Week, having held it previously for the 91st Academy Awards. Are you ready to start rolling?
