The new database will allow students to watch their lectures anywhere.
Ain Shams University’s engineering faculty is launching a new online database called Smart Classroom that is going to allow students to access their lectures live as well as on demand through any device connected to the internet.
The project is a collaboration with two Chinese institutions: Shenzhen province’s SUSTech university and Weidong Cloud Education Group, which provide cloud-based education services.
The service is meant to provide more means of comfort for students and equip them with the resources necessary for them to excel. On those frosty winter mornings you feel like you just can’t get out of bed, Ain Shams engineers now don’t have to. Major transfer, anyone?
