50% Discount on Train Tickets For People With Disabilities

The Egyptian National Railway Authority announced a 50% discount on ticket prices for individuals with disabilities, as well as anyone accompanying them. The discount will be applied to all train schedules in order to make these public spaces more accessible.

The discounted tickets will be available for purchase at train stations prior to boarding, and can be accessed by citizens who possess the Ministry of Social Solidarity’s new integrated service card. The card is part of the ministry’s system for people with disabilities, allowing them to take advantage of a variety of services across different sectors such as transport, medical and social.
