Following in the footsteps of Twitter and Instagram, Facebook has just introduced clickable hashtags...

In a bid to remain relevant, Facebook has introduced clickable hashtags. This means you can now view a feed of all the people using a particular hashtag or use the search function to find trending topics.
Hashtags linked to Instagram will also be made active. This is the first time FB has allowed people to view the general community and discover "new friends" via the conversation. The company is rolling out hashtags to roughly 20 per cent of its users, with a full global launch expected in the coming weeks.
We tried using the service ourselves today but we couldn’t do it, we felt like we were cheating on Twitter and this made us sad.
