Cairo-Based Law Firm Shalakany Named Among World's Top 500

Established in 1912, Cairo-based law firm Shalakany has long established itself as one of the region's most prominent legal firms, consistently ranking amongst the world's top firms, including this year. As seen on Enterprise, Shalakany has just been ranked as a top-tier legal firm in seven practices, out of a total of ten, by Legal 500, making it the only Egyptian firm to feature on the prestigious annual ranking.

Additionally, four of the firm's partners, including Khaled and Aly El Shalakny, were named as leading lawyers, with four more being named 'next-generation lawyers', according to the company's press release on the matter. Khaled El Shalakany has also been honoured with a Hall of Fame award.

Legal 500 has, for the past 32 years, released an annual ranking of the world's top legal firms, which are assessed using a series of comprehensive criteria. The rank's findings are based on feedback from 300,000 clients worldwide, making it one of the most recognised in the industry.
