UN’S WFP and NCW Plan Training Courses Upper-Egyptian Women

The programme will teach entrepreneurial skills to help women launch enterprises.

In cooperation with the United Nations’ World Food Programme (WFP), the National Council for Women (NCW) is planning training courses to train 120 women across five villages in Sohag, to help improve their skills in launching small enterprises with the aim of increasing household income.

With a strong emphasis on combating the heightened challenges faced by women, the course will include teaching traits of successful female entrepreneurs and determining the priorities of female entrepreneurs. More widely, it will teach skills in managing finance and product development, successful shopping and electronic marketing, and calculating the costs and pricing of products.
