Saudi B2B Logistics Platform Tachyon Raises $1.6 Million Pre-Seed

Tachyon, a Saudi cloud-based logistics platform, has raised $1.6 million in a pre-Seed round to further expand its operations across Saudi Arabia and the MENA region.

Founded in 2021 by Abdulrahman Ijaabo, Nidal Alattas, Maysarah Michaal and Hamzah Abu Sitta, Tachyon allows users to manage their internal or external transport and logistics operations. “Our latest investment round is to cement our platform benefits by improving modules and features, in addition to further expanding in the Kingdom,” Abdulrahman Ijaabo, CEO of Tachyon, tells StartupScene.

A cloud-based platform, users can utilize Tachyon’s digital solutions to improve services, reduce costs and save time. The platform also aims to create a seamless experience for shippers, carriers, or brokers to further enhance their processes.

According to the startup, Tachyon has reached more than 50% growth MoM since its launch last year, and registered 90 transporters with a capacity of 8,000 trucks.

With the new funding, Tachyon wants to provide customers with premium services and further impact the logistics industry by expanding to Saudi Arabia, the GCC and across the MENA region.
