SPARK and Integrated Dawiyat to Advance Industry 4.0 Technology

King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) in Saudi Arabia and Integrated Dawiyat have entered into a strategic partnership to develop and integrate smart city technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT), to kickstart a technological revolution towards Industry 4.0 within SPARK.

Through the integration of cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies and innovations, SPARK hopes to keep ahead of itself in terms of its advanced infrastructure, and serve as a leading energy-centric ecosystem in the world. It is the first industrial city worldwide to earn a silver LEED certification.

SPARK and Dawiyat previously agreed to cooperate in February 2020 to establish the city’s state-of-the-art infrastructure, by having Dawiyat implement telecommunications technology and smart solutions like fibre optics networks and telecom towers.
