Hewlett-Packard Launches Digital School Programme Across Middle East
Titled ‘HP Digitally Advanced Schools’, the programme integrates solutions to create an immersive learning experience that tackles the educational setbacks brought by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Computer giant HP Inc., aka Hewlett-Packard, has launched a digitised school programme catered to the students in the MENA region. Titled ‘HP Digitally Advanced Schools’, the programme integrates devices, solutions, and capabilities together to create an immersive learning experience that tackles the educational setbacks brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.
“It is no surprise that the education system has been disrupted by the pandemic,” said Mayank Dhingra, Senior Education Business Lead, Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe at HP Inc. “As a result, educators need to be agile and quickly adapt to the new reality, to ensure students’ learning stays on track. The launch of the HP Digitally Advanced Schools programme highlights the role technology and IT play in keeping students learning from wherever they are, now and into the future.”
The programme combines intel-powered HP notebooks with ‘HP Classeasy’, a gasified learning management system, and the HP School Coach programme. Their focus on education hopes to reach 100 million students globally by 2025, thereby digitizing the nature of school learning across the planet.
