Sawiris Foundation Announces Fully Paid Arts Scholarships for Egyptian Students

The Sawiris Foundation for Social Development has recently announced their latest scholarship – the Sawiris Arts and Culture Scholarship (SACS) – granted for those who want to do their Bachelor's (BA) or Master's (MA) degrees.

The chosen applicants will be receiving a grant dedicated to the study of art in universities – local or international. According to the application form, the fields that can be studied within the grant are music, fine arts, visual arts, digital arts, performance (including dance, theatre, and performance studies), as well as drama studies (theory and backstage), art history, art criticism, art management, and such.

The grant given by SACS covers tuition fees, educational materials, living allowance, travel expenses, and health insurance. The eligible scholarship period is four years for BA, and two years for MA.

The opportunity is a great chance for many Egyptians to "enrich their talents" in arts to keep up with the ever-flourishing global art scene.

You can only apply if you're an Egyptian national living in Egypt, with an admission letter from a university the proper language requirements, and social and community engagement.

To apply, fill out the application form for the Sawiris Foundation here; after that, send your application form to Sawiris Foundation at sacs@sawirisfoundation.org with the Subject being your full name and the field you want to apply to.

Deadline for submission is February 1st, 2019.
