USA's Metropolitan Opera Shows to Be Broadcast at Cairo Opera House

After being delayed and then cancelled due to global pandemic mandates, the Minister of Culture finally announced that the USA’s Metropolitan Opera performances will be broadcast once again at the Cairo Opera House. 

It’ll all resume on Saturday, January 29th, with a new production of Verdi’s Rigoletto, which was presented for the first time on New Year’s Eve with great success. 

The Cairo Opera House is the first in Africa and the Middle East to cooperate with the Metropolitan Opera since 2010 and transmit its performances directly from America.
