A portal to a grandiose time of art and culture, virtual world and augmented reality platform SuperWorld has partnered with famed crypto artist VESA to create a virtual render of the Luxor Temple, in what they called ‘The LUXOR Project’, and set up an entire NFT art gallery within its hallowed halls.

Drawing inspiration from producer and Egyptologist John Anthony’s series ‘Magical Egypt,’ ‘The LUXOR Project attempts to bridge both the geographical and temporal gap between the historical and the virtual.

“The culmination of this project, and having my work displayed in the Luxor temple in VR as designed by SuperWorld, is a tremendous honour,” VESA says. “By resurrecting and paying tribute to the wisdom of our forgotten past and using it to articulate what is possible today, the LUXOR Project is not only exciting for me personally, but it also paves a roadmap for our creative future in the Metaverse.”

Equally, just like its multidimensional nature, the project is just as rich in thought as it is in pixels. To take a look for yourself, you can check it out live on superworld’s website.
