Slow Art Day: Your Guide To Exhibitions in Egypt this April
Today is International Slow Art Day when we're all encouraged to take a moment to pause and reflect on art. Here's what you can't miss in Egypt this month...
April 11th marks International Slow Art Day; a global initiative to encourage the public to discover for themselves the joy of looking at and loving art. Why slowly? Because when you really look at a piece, you begin to have revelations, self reflections and discoveries without the need of cheesy expert commentary. Everyone can 'get' art, you just need to give it the time; an investment that's bound to open up creative pathways in your mind that you never knew were there. To celebrate Slow Art Day we wanted to give everyone a guide to all the exceptional art exhibitions happening around Egypt this month, and we hope to encourage, not just art aficionados, but those that have never bothered to visit a gallery in their lives, to take the time to experience the importance of art.
