Over 150 Egyptian Artists to be Showcased at the 5th Cairo Art Fair

There’s nothing quite like that feeling you get when you're surrounded by beautiful pieces of art and raw, genuine creative expression. Luckily, the fifth edition of the Cairo Art Fair (CAF V) will grant us an opportunity to feel just that with the biggest contemporary art exhibition in Egypt. Showcasing the works of 150 Egyptian artists, with over 1,500 artworks, this year’s CAF V will be hosted by the TAM.Gallery (formerly the Arts-mart gallery).

CAF V will open on December 6th 2019, and will run until January 30th 2020. Art lovers should expect a diverse array of artwork, ranging from paintings and photography to sculptures and installations. Every inch of the space will be covered by artwork. The fair has carefully curated the pieces to ensure the exhibition is wholly representative of the contemporary Egyptian art scene. CAF V is proud to showcase the work of emerging artists, in addition to great masters of art such as Sayed Saad El Din, Ibrahim El Tanbouli and Britt Boutros Ghali. Also featured will be the works of Egypt’s top contemporary artists such as Maged Mekhail, Lina Mowafy and Wael Darwish.

CAF V will be free to the public. We’re super excited to see the works of such an amazing group of talented Egyptian artists under one roof! For more information, check out CAF V’s Facebook page.
