Finnish-Egyptian Musical Bridge Returns For Euphoric 9th Edition

For all the music lovers out there, great news! On the 13th, 14th, and 15th of March, the Finnish-Egyptian Musical Bridge will be back for its 9th edition at the Arab Music Institute. Not only will we be lucky enough to participate in several workshops offered by Finnish musicians, singers, as well as academics, but our ears will be graced with a series of concerts that the event usually concludes with.

The brainchild of Finnish pianist, professor, and conductor Ralf Gothoni, the Bridge is usually held with in cooperation with the Cairo Opera House. Other musical personalities - such as Opera Director Eija Tolpo, Voice Trainer Soprano Rivta-Liisa Kornohen, Violinist Mark Gothoni, Cellist Yuko Miyagawa, and Clarinetist Michael Lethiac - will also be holding workshops throughout the event. With this pleasant explosion of music of all tastes and forms, it's impossible that the event will fall short of astounding.

The Bridge provides an excellent opportunity for young and talented Egyptian musicians and singers. Not only that, but the lucky among them will be given the opportunity to pursue their passion in music studies at the Savonlinna Music Academy and even perform during the Savonlinna Opera Festival! We've got nothing to say other than this March sounds like music to our ears!

For more details about the event, you can check out the announcement on their Facebook page.
