Egyptian actor Mohamed Farrag stars in new series ‘Batn Al Hout’

Egyptian actor Mohamed Farrag is set to star in the upcoming series 'Batn Al Hout' on the streaming platform Shahid. The series will also feature a set of established and rising actors including Bassem Samra, Asmaa Aboul Yazeed, Somaya El Khashab, Abdelaziz Makhyoun, Youssef Osman, Hossam El-Husseiny, Basma, Tamer Habib, Hassan Abu Al-Rous, Essam Omar, and Ahmed Fahmy.

‘Batn Al Hout’, both written and directed by Ahmed Fouzy, delves into contemporary societal issues, exploring conflicts and disputes within a modern Egyptian context. Farrag's character will navigate challenging circumstances and ultimately find himself at the helm of a drug trafficking empire.

Farrag's recent film, 'Voy! Voy! Voy!' has been recently selected to represent Egypt in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the Oscars.
