Egyptian Opera Singer Wins Prestigious Award for Tenors
This Egyptian Opera singer wowed audiences in Poland with his jaw-dropping performances.
Haven't felt proud to be Egyptian in a while? Feeling like classical music is underrated in this day and age? That's okay because there's an Egyptian tenor who's performances were so amazing, they just had to be awarded. In this year’s 19th annual, acclaimed Polish International Tenors Tournament, an Egyptian tenor by the name of Ragaa Eldin received one of the main awards given by the Operetta Enthusiasts in Szczecin and the Association of Opera.
Ragaa Eldin was also featured recently in Algeria’s International Festival of Classical Music among other world-renowned musicians and orchestras. The award-winning opera singer has also played leading roles in both Italy and Paris. And back at home, Ragaa Eldin performed with Al Nour Wal Amal Chamber Orchestra, an orchestra consisting of visually impaired women, on the 30th of September 2016 in Cairo; Ragaa Eldin announced that he and Al Nour Wal Amal Chamber Orchestra will also be going to Paris in November.
