Art D'Egypte & Cairo Photo Week Laud Feminity with 'Mu'anath' Exhibit

Ahead of International Women’s Day on March 8th, Art D’Egypte and Cairo Photo Week are working together to put on a special exhibition called ‘Mu’anath’. Sponsored by UN Women, the exhibition - which means ‘feminine’ in Arabic - brings a collective of artists to explore femininity in all its forms through photography, painting and sculpture.

The show is part of Art D’Egypte’s year-long programme leading up to their ‘Forever is Now’ exhibition, which will be displayed at the Great Pyramids of Giza this October.

You can check out ‘Mu’anath’ at 20 Adly Street in Downtown Cairo, from March 7th to April 1st.
