16 Nations to Participate in Seven Events by the Ministry of Culture

The Ministry of Culture will organise seven cultural events under the title “Messages from East and West” throughout the 2021 artistic season, with 16 nations from all corners of the world primed to participate. The festivities will be joined by representatives from the UK, Pakistan, Germany, Indonesia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Spain, Portugal, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Vietnam, Tunisia, Belgium, Senegal, Morocco, Russia and Colombia.

The activities will be enriched by local groups of writers, thinkers, and artistic teams. There will also be a project to allocate a venue inside the Naguib Mahfouz Museum for international writers who were awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature. A pavilion inside the museum will spotlight these pioneers in world literature and their role in shaping international culture.
